There are many ways to support the domestic and sexual violence movement both
with your time and your financial resources.
Relief After Violent Encounter-Ionia/Montcalm, Inc. is a 501c (3) private non-profit
maintenance of facilities, emergency client needs, awareness activities and
multiple needs throughout the two county service area. All monetary donations are

Community groups and individuals often organize fund raisers or donation drives
for RAVE I/M. If you or a group you belong to are interested in sponsoring a fund
raiser for RAVE-Ionia/Montcalm, Inc., please contact Erin at 616-527-3351 ext. 222.

The shelter is always in need of various non-monetary donations. Click here for a
printable list of needed items. To make a donation of goods, contact
616-527-3351 to arrange drop-off times.
*A minimum of 50% of your donation could come right back to you. The law allows a taxpayer to reduce Michigan Income Tax or
Single Business Tax liability by a credit of 50% of the amount contributed to a Homeless Shelter/Food Bank, subject to a maximum
credit of: $100 for an individual filing singly, (Based on a $200 contribution) $200 for married filing jointly, (Based on a $400
contribution) This is in addition to your donation being fully deductible for federal income taxes.
